Biography

Four boys from Blackwood... It sounds like the Manic Street Preachers story, but this one is slightly different.
Bored by the over used and annoying riffs of guitar bands, that usually come out of this working class area, Cleome were born out of a love of Rap/Hip Hop, a little bit of 'dance' and alternative music.
Comprised of two singers, a bass guitar, drum machines, synths and samplers it's a real mix of genres and influences blended into a melting pot of pure essence, like the little bottle of potions you can buy from aromatherapy specialists.
They have just signed to 6 Baby Productions, who are now helping them get their music out and listened to. Check out their first release, Porcelain Romance.
